Youth Summer Calendar
This summer we are offering more for youth than we have have in all of our previous years combined! Between Hope, Skate Church, and Flow, there are over 30 events for middle and high school students. Check it out!
Ongoing Youth Activities
Our middle school and high school groups meet every Sunday at both our Santa Cruz and Scotts Valley campuses. Our Santa Cruz campus offers a middle school group and high school group during the 10:30 AM service. Our Scotts Valley campus offers a combined 6th-12th grade group at 10:00 AM.
Midweek hangouts are available for middle school girls, middle school boys, high school girls, and high school guys. For more details and to sign up for a hangout, click the button below:
Skate Church is on a summer break. We will re-launch on August 6th. Skate Church meets Monday evenings during the school year (see times below) and features an indoor skate park, a free slice of pizza, and a 5-10 minute talk. ***all skaters must have the waiver signed***
5:30 - 6:30 PM: Elementary School (1st-5th grade)
7:00 - 8:00 PM: Middle / High School (6th-12th grade)
Flow is a safe-space after school program for middle and high school students. We open our building for skateboarding, BMX, scooters, jiu jitsu, dodgeball, and more. Students can come hang out, play video games, work on homework, and grab some free food. Our goal is to add value to youth in our community through an atmosphere of belonging, mentorship, and the power of play.
One way we like to be good neighbors to the high school next door is by hosting Taco Tuesday. On the first Tuesday of every month we bust out our grill and cook hundreds of tacos for the students at Soquel High who walk through our parking lot. They get free lunch, and we get some high fives, smiles, and an opportunity to get to know them.
